Private Taxi from CDG Airport to Disneyland Paris

Private Taxi from CDG Airport to Disneyland Paris

Many Disney holidays start with landing at Charles de Gaulle with children, suitcases, and a pushchair, and a taxi called My Disney Ride takes you from the arrival hall to your hotel door as part of a CDG to Disneyland Paris journey, without requiring a change of trains in central Paris.

CDG is the airport where most flights from the UK, Ireland, and much of Europe arrive. The park is on the eastern side of the city, about 45 km away.

The bus service suits families with small children, groups, and first-time visitors to Paris; you pay a single fare for the entire vehicle, so a family of four usually pays less per person than by train.

Quick Facts

  • Distance: about 45 km (28 miles)
  • Private taxi time: about 35–50 minutes

How far is CDG Airport from Disneyland Paris?

The main distance is about 45 km (28 miles), and the driver can choose one of three routes depending on traffic conditions that day.

  • From N2 to A104 (Francilienne) and then on to A4: approximately 45 km; this route is the most direct one and bypasses central Paris.
  • From A1 to A3 to A86 to A4: This route is approximately 55 km long and is taken by drivers when the A104 is closed or experiencing heavy congestion.
  • N3 to A104 to A4: This route covers a comparable distance; it is useful in the event of works or accidents near the airport junctions.

Most transfers take the A104 route and, before leaving, drivers check current traffic conditions, adjusting their route if delays occur.

Travel Time with My Disney Ride

During periods of high traffic, the journey usually lasts between 35 and 45 minutes, but during the weekday rush hours, from 7:00 to 9:30 and from 16:30 to 19:30, it can be 15 to 30 minutes longer.

On Saturdays and during the French school holidays, the A4 sees heavier traffic. The park's closing time also creates a short queue of cars and coaches leaving the resort. However, this is less of a concern for arrivals, since most traffic is moving away from Disney at that time.

CDG to Disneyland Paris Taxi Prices

Prices are per vehicle, not per person; the fare depends on the vehicle size you choose, and the fixed price appears as soon as you enter your details.

[rates from="cdg-airport" to="disneyland-park" pax="1-8"]

The booking confirmation shows precisely what is included in the fare, for example, tolls, waiting time and luggage. Should you require child seats, include them in your booking notes so that we can arrange them before your journey.

When travelling by train, a family of four has to pay for four tickets. On the TGV, this usually amounts to between €60 and €120 or more, together with the walk through the station with their luggage. Since a single fare applies to all family members, a taxi can often be a competitive option for groups of four or more.

Why Families Book My Disney Ride for This Route

  • Licensed, professional drivers: Drivers are familiar with the airport terminals and the entrances to the resort hotel.
  • Flight tracking: We keep an eye on your flight number, which is why your pickup time will change if you happen to land early or late.
  • Meet and greet: A driver is waiting for you in the arrivals hall with a sign displaying your name.
  • On a fixed-price basis, the fare is determined at the time of booking and will not increase due to traffic.
  • Regarding family facilities: Please mention in your booking notes if you would like child seats and pushchair space.
  • For dropping off at the door: you go to the entrance of your Disney or partner hotel, not to a bus stop.
  • Support team: If your plans change, you can get in touch with us both before and during your transfer.

Other Ways to Get from CDG Airport to Disneyland Paris

Train (RER / TGV)

The TGV runs directly from Aéroport CDG 2 TGV station to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy in about 10 to 15 minutes. Service is infrequent, and prices depend on demand. Taking the RER B to Châtelet–Les Halles and then the RER A to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy takes about one hour thirty minutes and costs about €13 per adult with the airport ticket. The journey, however, involves crowded trains and using the stairs with your luggage.

Bus / Shuttle

The shuttle service from the airport to Disneyland Paris has changed operators and schedules several times in recent years. Check the current arrangements before travelling, as routes and prices may have changed. Because the shuttles generally stop at a number of hotels, your trip could take longer.

Uber / Ride-hailing apps

Ride-hailing services are available at CDG and will take you directly to the resort. Prices vary with demand and can increase considerably during busy periods. Child seats are rarely available, which is difficult for families with young children.

Which of the options is right for you?

Book a private taxi if:

  • You are travelling with babies or young children who need car seats
  • You have several suitcases and a pushchair
  • Your flight lands late in the evening, when trains are less frequent
  • You are a group of four or more sharing one fare
  • It is your first visit, and you would rather not change trains in Paris

Public transport may suit you if:

  • You are travelling alone or as a couple
  • You only have hand luggage
  • Your budget is very tight and time matters less

Best Time to Travel from CDG Airport to Disneyland Paris

In the early morning, the roads are generally clear by 7:00, and if you arrive early you will be able to leave your bags at the hotel and get to the park by the time it opens.

At midday the traffic on the A104 and the A4 is usually only moderate. The rooms at the Disney hotel are normally available from mid-afternoon, so if you arrive at midday, you have time for lunch in Disney Village.

In the evening the A104 and the A4 are slowed down by the rush hour until about 19:30, so you should plan a slightly longer journey and have dinner later.

Night: Late arrivals get the quickest journeys. Your driver still waits in arrivals, which helps when trains are running less often.
